My skin is dry, as we know. I mentioned last week that I've been using Differin Gel, which is a retinoid. Pairing that with already dry skin is a recipe for disaster if you aren't prepared. Argan Oil can be a lifesaver for dry skin, so I've added one to my routine.
ActuallyOrganic Argan Oil Review
ActuallyOrganic Argan Oil is a 100% natural Argan Oil with no harmful chemicals or hidden ingredients. Argan Oil can be extremely moisturizing for your skin and hair, but it's also great for oily skin! It will balance out your sebum levels, so don't be afraid of oils!
Every Argan Oil I've used in the past has come in a bottle with a dropper and I've made a total mess using it. ActuallyOrganic Argan Oil has a pump and I cannot tell you how excited I was and still am over that simple change of packaging. It is a spray/pump kind of thing so there's a little force behind it. Life-changing! Seriously, though. No more messes.
Argan Oil Benefits
My favorite way to use this is to apply it at night before bed. I'll take a couple of drops and apply it to my face and let it soak in completely before I put on my moisturizer at night. It takes about 5-10 minutes to soak in completely, but it doesn't leave an oily residue behind.
I've also mixed a drop in with my foundation on days when my skin isn't behaving, and it helps the foundation to sit better on my dry skin and makes it more dewy.
I also like to run it through the ends of my hair, since it also gets dry in the winter, and it helps to keep it soft and healthy.
I've really been enjoying the ActuallyOrganic Argan Oil & I'm glad I added it to my ever-growing routine.

  4. I've come to the conclusion that I need to start adding an oil to my skincare regimen. I bought a huge bottle of argan oil some time ago and it's just been languishing in the cabinet, so I'm going to take it out. :) I've heard mixing oil with your nighttime moisturizer and using that as an overnight cream works pretty well, so I'm going to try that.

  7. I have only used Argan Oil on my hair - probably because I'm iffy about breakouts. You're right - why can't facial oils come in pump packaging? So much more sensible that way!
