It's no secret that I love IT Cosmetics. I think they're a great company and I pretty much adore every product I've ever tried. Recently, I received their new skin care products, and I'll be reviewing them over the next couple of weeks, but today we're going to talk about the Bye Bye Pores Primer.
Pore Blurring Primer
The IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Primer has a few things it claims to do:
  • Reduce shine
  • Create smooth, matte finish
  • Help foundation last longer
  • Minimize pores
This is one of the two primers that I use regularly. I use this in conjunction with the Becca Backlight Priming Filter. I just use the Bye Bye Pores on the center of my face where I have enlarged pores, since my skin is pretty dry everywhere else and I don't like to be too matte.

The Bye Bye Pores primer does a good job of blurring my pores, but doesn't completely hide them. It completely stops my foundation from sinking into them and gives a much more flawless look to my skin. It definitely extends the wear of my foundation as well. It makes your skin completely matte wherever you put it, which is definitely a good thing for girls with oily skin. Despite it being matte, it doesn't make my skin look dry.
Pore Minimizing Primer

I really like how lightweight this primer is. A lot of the pore smoothing primers feel really heavy and silicon-y feeling, and this one feels more like a lotion, which I really like. It also doesn't do that thin that some of them do where they ball up on you.

I forgot to mention it earlier, but the packaging has a pump, which is awesome and I love that.

I definitely recommend checking it out if you want a pore smoothing primer but don't want anything too heavy. I really like this one. You can find it at Sephora!

Thanks for reading!

  1. None of the primers I have tried have ever balled up. I wish I knew what that looked like. I like lotions, so I bet I'd like this.

    1. I prefer the primers that feel like lotions, too. That's why I like this one & the Becca Backlight Priming Filter.

    1. That's what I've heard! I've had some primers that don't seem to behave with anything.

  7. I have been LOVING this primer -- I like to pair it with the other anti-aging serum primer that IT Cosmetics sells. Together they're awesome!
