I've been posting some Halloween makeup looks on my Instagram this year, and since it's Halloween I figured I'd go ahead and share them here as well, so here we go!
Quick disclaimer:
Halloween makeup isn't something I excel at or something I've even attempted before this year. I didn't practice any of these. I literally sat down, attempted whatever I had in mind and posted the outcome, whatever that may be. I'm really not happy at all with the skull, but that's life. I love Halloween, I love Halloween makeup & costumes and lately I've really been loving SFX, so it's something I want to work on & learn, so you'll probably be seeing a lot more of this as we go on. You can follow my journey & maybe next Halloween I can post something amazing.
Disclaimer #2:
I'm going to post all of the products I used. Not all of them are cruelty free. I used this as an opportunity to try to use up some of my old non-cruelty free products. I am not purchasing from companies that test on animals.
Okay, let's start with the look I'm most happy with.
Fortune Teller
Fortune Teller Costume

Halloween Costume Fortune Teller

Even though I feel like I could have done more with this, I like how it came out. I was afraid of doing too much and ruining it, so I erred on the side of caution. Maybe next time, I'll go all out.

Harley Quinn Makeup

Even though I do feel like this one is pretty spot on as well, it was super easy and I kind of didn't want to do it but it was one of those days where I wanted to do something but I was restricted on time and knew I could get it done. I'm still pretty happy with it nonetheless.

Valentia Moisturizer
Wet n Wild Contour Duo
Mary Kay Setting Powder
ABH Moonchild Glow Kit Pink Heart & Blue Ice

Look #3
Half Skull

Halloween Skull Makeup

This one I am not happy with. It has so many problems and it took so long that it got dark outside and then the pictures wouldn't come out right and made it look even worse. The best part was the black glitter and the duochrome effect on the skull side and it was lost as soon as it got dark because I don't have good lighting. I gave up on the teeth after the 10,000th attempt and it just seemed like nothing was going right with this one. I almost gave it up entirely, but put it up anyway because I spent hours trying to get it. I'm really disappointed in it.

Product details:

Non-skeleton eye is ABH Morocco, Fudge, Noir
KVD Tattoo Liner
Pur Cosmetics Fully Charged Mascara
Social Eyes Siren Lashes
Lips are Colourpop Lovebug
ABH Moonchild Glow Kit Blue Ice pretty much everywhere to highlight
All glittery black on skull side is from Too Faced Pretty Rebel Palette
Also shaded around it with the hot pink in the palette

So there are my Halloween looks. I only got up three because I've been so stupidly busy. I'm really hoping to improve before next year because we all know Halloween is my favorite.

Thanks for reading!
