I picked up the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss a few weeks ago in Ulta. I was super excited that their makeup was available at my Ulta and had to try something. I'm a little obsessive over plumping lip products and decided I should definitely give this one a shot,
Soap and Glory Nudestar Review

The Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss is available in 7 shades, so I grabbed the nude one, Nudestar. This shade is a pale nude with brown undertones and has some shimmer in it. Not all of the glosses are shimmery, so if you aren't into that there are cream formulas as well. The shimmer is tiny and you can't feel it on your lips.

While most glosses smell like vanilla, cupcakes or some type of fruit, I find this one smells like Tootsie Rolls. I kind of appreciate how different it is from the other glosses that I own and I like that the scent isn't too strong.

The formula is a bit sticky, not as sticky as MAC glosses, but sticky nonetheless. I don't mind it, because it's not super sticky and the gloss does last a really long time.

So let's discuss the plumping effect. Short answer, yes it plumps your lips. It actually does a pretty nice job and I quite like the effect. I've tried other plumping lip products, most recently the Too Faced Lip Injection, which is pretty intense. Well, this one is slightly more intense. I don't know how to describe it other than saying it's similar to the feeling of when your foot falls asleep and then feels all prickly, like someone is poking it with needles over and over. It's kind of like that, and then your lips start to go kind of numb, really cold and it feels almost like they're vibrating, which I know it a weird way to describe it. It's just weird. A little uncomfortable and weird. The feeling lasts for quite some time, so it's not something that's over after a couple of minutes.

Like most lip plumping products, if your lips are particularly sensitive, you probably shouldn't use it.

Overall, I really like it. It works, the colors are pretty and it's inexpensive and $10 per tube.

Let me know if you've tried these before and your opinions.
Thanks for reading!
