I've been on quite the hair journey lately. I can't decide what I want to do with it, so I've been taking this opportunity to test a plethora of hair products.
Hask Review
Today, we're going to talk about the Hask Charcoal Purifying line. This is a clarifying shampoo, conditioner and mask. They even sent me this adorable brush that immediately went into my purse.
I was really excited about trying the Hask Charcoal line because it's been a little while since I've tried a new clarifying shampoo and everyone needs a good clarifying shampoo.
The Hask Charcoal Purifying Shampoo cleanses and clarifies your hair. Despite it being clarifying, it's totally gentle on your hair. The charcoal is derived from coconut shells and is combined with grapefruit and lemon oils. It has a great light citrus scent, but don't worry it's free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors.
The Hask Charcoal Purifying Conditioner is also derived from coconut shells and combined with the citrus oils. It conditions and locks in moisture, leaving your hair smooth and shiny. It's also free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors.
The Hask Charcoal Purifying Deep Conditioner nourishes and softens hair and is developed in the same way as the shampoo and conditioner.
Hask Hair Review
I'm seriously in love with these products. I've been using them a few times a week, because they get my hair SO clean, but it still feels moisturized and healthy. Also. I know people with color treated hair shy away from clarifying products and for good reason. However, I've been using these and I have hair that is dyed red with semi permanent color and it hasn't made it fade in the least. This stuff is seriously gentle on your hair while getting the job done.
Overall, I definitely recommend this. It smells amazing, but the scent is super light and not head ache inducing like some scents. This is definitely going to be something I purchase when mine runs out.

  7. Nice to hear of a clarifying product that is not drying! I have stayed away from them because they have caused me massive tangles but I will put this on my list of things to dry when my hair is feeling drab.

  9. I looooove me some HASK! I blew through my Macadamia shampoo and conditioner and am on to Kalahari Melon Oil. I am so happy with how insanely SOFT these products make my damaged (hello, bleach) tresses feel. Like you, I immediately popped the adorable brush straight into my bag. I'm such a fan of this brand.
