It's been a bit since I've reviewed a mascara, and today I'm reviewing the Pur Cosmetics Fully Charged Mascara.
Pur Cosmetics Fully Charged Mascara review
Fully Charged is a fairly new mascara, and I've been using it for a few weeks now, cycling it with a couple of others I've been testing. I have comparison pictures to show you, so let's get into this review.
First of all, here's the description from Pur's Website:
Opposites attract with this anti-aging mascara that has a magnetic polymer matrix that wraps a positively charged elastic veil around each lash to instantly lift, separate and define each lash for long-lasting performance.

I was pretty intrigued by this description and I was very excited to try it out.

Let's talk about the wand.
Review of mascara

It's a larger wand with a kind of wavy shape. It's the kind of wand that I personally gravitate to, because I find this type of wand gives me the most volume and length.

The formula is nice and pigmented. I get so annoyed with "black" mascaras that look grey, but this one is very black. This formula is meant to benefit your lashes, which is a huge plus.

This mascara gives me full, long and fanned out lashes. It's super easy to work with and doesn't make a mess. I haven't had any flaking or smudging, and I did wear it to the gym twice to test it. I also took an accidental nap while wearing it and it didn't get that weird heavy, sticky feeling that some mascaras get.

Here's a comparison of with and without mascara, This is one coat and I never curl my lashes.
before and after

Overall, I adore this mascara. It gives you a great full lash effect that I can't get enough of. I'll continue to use it and when it runs out, I'll probably buy a tube because it's just that good.

It retails for $22. You can find it here.

Have you tried this mascara before? What's your current favorite mascara?

  7. Your lashes look fantastic! I have this mascara, but it clumps a bit more on me. Maybe I'm just too aggressive when applying, lol :-P
