It's been at least two years since I posted about Ipsy bags. I was happily unsubscribed from Ipsy for a while, and then resubscribed last month on a whim. Who knows if this is something I'll stay subscribed to or not, but for now here's what was in my February Ipsy bag.
Glam Bag 2016

  • Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat. Retail $30. Protects and brightens natural nails.
  • Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil. Retail $42(1 oz, sample is .13 oz)
  • Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Mini Rollerball. Retail $12
  • tre'StiQue Baby Blush Stick. Retail $34
  • Margaret Dabbs London Miniature Crystal Nail File. Retail $13.
The bag is super cute.
Glam Bag

I didn't find myself too excited for the products, but that's because I have a million nail files and acrylic nails, so 2 items from my bag are totally useless to me.

Subscription Bag

The total value of this bag is: $93, mostly because of that blush stick which is, in my opinion, horrendously overpriced.

What did you get in your glam bag?

    1. The bag is definitely cute. I unsubbed too but came back. I think I'm going to unsub again.

  3. The primer oil would be nice to have but the rest would be useless to me. I haven't had unpolished nails in 3 years.

    1. I didn't know anyone had unpolished nails, haha. I'm definitely not too happy with the bag.

    1. Occasionally they'll send out really great products and then you'll get a month or two that's not so good. It varies, but if you want to try new brands, it's nice to subscribe to for a few months. They seem to get redundant pretty quickly.

  5. I haven't tried Ipsy. I'm with you on the gel TC & file (as a nail addict I have a ton and I change my mani too often for gel TC to be useful). That pouch is adorable though!

  6. I loved my Ipsy bag! I've spent a lot of time putting in reviews on the items I get and now my bag is pretty much everything I want to try out. It took a while to get to that point, but I love it now!

    1. That's awesome! I was subscribed from the time Ipsy launched (when it was myglam), until about 2 years ago. I always did the surveys and kept the profile updated and it never helped. They still always sent me things that I asked not to send or that I checked as dislike. It sounds like they've improved that, though which is awesome!

  7. I stopped using the Pink Gel Coat because it contains formaldehyde. I would give the other products a try.

    1. I didn't even notice that but you're right. I definitely have no use for it then.
