There are so many different techniques you can use when doing any kind of makeup look, but smokey eyes have always been my personal favorites.
Jaclyn Hill recently posted a Halo Smokey Eye tutorial on Youtube, and since I've never tried this before, I decided to give it a shot. Here are the results:

Doing this look is actually a pretty simple concept. Dark matte shade on the inner & outer corners, blended lightly across the crease, light shade in the middle. This gives a more round appearance to your eyes, rather than what I'd normally do with the dark shade only on the outer corner.
I stepped out of my comfort zone and did something completely different for me and I wanted to share the outcome with you in hopes that you'll do the same. It's good to try something new and different every once in a while.
Here is the full list of products I used:
Anastasia Beverly Hills World Traveler Palette. Fudge on the inner & outer corners as well as the lower ash line, Morocco blended through the crease & lower lash line, Pink Champagne on the center of the lid.
UD Perversion Mascara
Nyx Tinted Brow Mascara
UD Primer Potion
Laura Geller Hydrating Primer
Kat Von D Tattoo Foundation
IT Cosmetics Vitality Face Disk--Bronzer only
Becca Champagne Pop Highlight
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Stingraye
All products used are Cruelty Free!
Let me know what you think about this look & thanks for reading!

    1. Aw, thank you! TBH, I have mixed feeling about the Kat Von D foundation. I have dry skin, so it tends to look cake-y up close, in person but it's gorgeous in pictures! I think someone with a normal-oily skin type would absolutely love it.

  3. I love it on your but when I bring that dark color into the inner corner of my eyes it sadly closes my eye look up too much. The colors you chose are beautiful.
