I recently ordered two of the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks from Beautylish. The two shades I picked up are Queen Supreme and I'm Nude. I've worn these a few times each and wanted to go ahead and let you know what I think about them!

  • I'm Nude is a light, tan based nude. Perfect to pair with an intense eye look.

The formula on these is so different from what I'm used to with Colourpop & Kat Von D. The lipstick is very thin and a little goes a very long way. It's easy to apply because the applicator is small and flexible. These dry down to completely matte, but seem to stay slightly sticky. Despite that, they do not budge unless you eat. Oils in your food will cause them to come off.

These apply best if you exfoliate and moisturize your lips first. You'll also want to shake up the liquid lipstick to avoid separation. Once these dry down, they'll stay on for around 8 hours and transfer is very minimal once totally set.

I find that these aren't as drying as other liquid lipsticks. Colourpop and Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks are slightly drying, but I don't experience that with the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks.

I recommend trying them out, for sure. They're cruelty free & vegan as well.

I also recommend purchasing them from Beautylish. My order shipped the same day it was placed and arrived two days later.

    You can find them here.

Thanks for reading & I hope this was helpful!
    xx
