I did a simple fall makeup look earlier this month, so I wanted to go ahead and post a more dramatic makeup look, using fall colors.

This is very inspired by the leaves that are changing colors!

I'll tell you the products used, and give you application tips!

Fall Makeup Look

  • Nars Eye Primer : To help the shadows stay longer and more intensely.
  • Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie : I used this with the Sigma E71 Highlight Diffuser brush for the transition shade.
  • Makeup Geek Chickadee : I also used the Sigma E71 to intensify the orange tones in my transition color.
  • Makeup Geek Bitten : I applied this to my crease and under the lower lash line with the Sigma E36 Blending Brush. This brush is perfect for small or hooded eyes.
  • Too Faced Glitter Glue : I patted this on the lid with my finger to help the foiled shadows to grab and have maximum intensity. It's not a must-have, but does help!
  • Makeup Geek Flamethrower : I used this beautiful orange-copper shade all over my lid. To apply the foiled shadows, you need a flat brush that's able to really pack on color, so I used the Sigma E56, because I prefer the thinner shape of this brush.
  • Makeup Geek Fortune Teller : I used the Sigma E56 again to place this on the inner corners and inner portion of the lid, and blended it up into Flamethrower so a nice transition.
  • Makeup Geek Magic Act : I used the Sigma E21 smudge brush to get this right in the inner corners, around the tear ducts for even more brightness and intensity.
  • Kat Von D Tattoo Liner Trooper : I used this liner to give a winged/cat eye effect, and then I set the outer corners with a black shadow and the Sigma E11(Eyeliner Brush), because my eyes have been extremely watery lately.
  • Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara : I used this because it's the most dramatic and intense mascara I've used in quite some time, and watery eyes don't play well with lash glue.

  • Too Faced HangoveRx Primer : This provides a little extra hydration and helps my makeup to apply smoother.
  • Kat Von D Tattoo Foundation : I'll be reviewing this soon, but it's super high coverage and is hard to work with on dry skin like mine. I mix this with a drop of Argan oil. 1/2 pump for my entire face. I use the Sigma F84 to apply this and the beauty blender to make sure it's even and to pick up any excess.
  • Nyx Under Eye Concealer : This is a peach-toned concealer that I put on to correct dark circles.
  • Nyx HD Concealer : Used to cover the dark circles that I corrected and highlight.
  • IT Cosmetics Creme Highlight : I place this on the tops of my cheekbones, above my lip and on the end of my nose so bring some light and dimension back into my face. Some days I'll only use this for my highlight, today I used it as the base.
  • NARS Light Reflecting Powder : Used to set my makeup.
  • IT Cosmetics Contour Kit : I used the two shades in the middle to contour my face.
  • Tarte Exposed Blush : Used on my cheeks lightly to give even more dimension and color to my face, I like to use the Sigma F40 Contour Brush for this.
  • Becca Opal Highlight Powder/Colourpop Wisp : Mixed together and applied on my cheekbones, end of nose and above lip to give an intense highlight. I always use the Sigma F90 Fan Brush to apply Opal highlight, it just makes it melt right into the skin.
  • Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray : I like to drown myself in this before I leave the house. It sets the makeup, makes it look less cake-y or powdery and makes it last longer.
  • Nyx Brow Gel : I use this to make my brows more intense and keep them in place without going through the trouble of filling them in. They need waxed right now, so I'm not so into filling them in at the moment.

  • Nyx Natural Lip Liner : Used to line my lips and to help them to look more even and fuller. I do slightly overline, but it's barely noticeable.
  • Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream Copenhagen : This is a bright berry shade, perfect for fall.
That's it! I hope this look inspires you!
