- Trap: Trap is a beige-nude shade with a gray undertone. Similar to Lime Crime Cashmere
- Shimmy: Shimmy is a light nude pink.
- Seesaw: Seesaw is a pastel pink with strong lavender undertones.
- Buds: Buds is a true neon pink with a blue undertone. It's a barbie pink shade, for sure.
- Ouiji: Ouiji is a neon coral shade.
- Tulle: Tulle is a burgundy with a brown-ish undertone. It's almost a dustier shade, similar to Kat Von D Lolita.
Let's talk about the packaging:
The tubes are cute, I love the holographic Colourpop logo and the packaging is pretty sleek. I personally like the way they look.
I've heard a lot about leak-y tubes, and mine aren't leaking. I've used them each multiple times, and I've had no issues so far.
Onto the formula:
These are pretty pigmented and I find them easy to apply. The product is very thin and dries pretty quickly. I've had no problems with adding multiple layers, although it's not necessary with most of the ones I have. With the exception of one, none of these apply streaky. They last a long time on my lips, and I don't personally find them to be anymore drying than the others I've used. If I'm not eating, these will last 6-7 hours before it starts to fade. If I eat, it will generally last 4-5 before I need to touch up.
Buds is the only one that I have minor issues with. It applies a little streaky, so you need two layers to make it opaque. Once it's on, it's good to go.
And here are the swatches:
That's all the swatches!
I love the 6 shades that I have, and I definitely want to get more once they come back in stock.
I recommend trying them out if you're into liquid lipsticks. They're only $6 each!
Also, Colourpop is Cruelty-Free so supporting them is a great idea!
What colors did you get or are you going to get?
Thanks for reading!
