Today I'll be giving a quick review of two new beauty products from Covergirl, the Super Sizer Mascara and Intensify Me! Eyeliner by Lashblast.

We will start with the mascara.

The Super Sizer Mascara from Covergirl claims to give 400% more corner-to-corner volume for full, fanned out lashes.
The directions on the package are to place the lash styler at the base of your lashes, use the flat side at the base to deposit the product, then rotate the brush as you pull through. Multiple coats are recommended. Here's a picture of the brush:

It's more of a comb than a brush, to me.
Here's my results:

As you'd imagine, this is a volumizing mascara, so I didn't really get any length out of it, at all. It was pretty volumizing, but it's definitely easy to get your lashes clumped together. The brush is pretty good about brushing the clumps back out, though. This is a very wet mascara and it's not waterproof.

Next is the Intensify Me! Eyeliner by LashBlast.

The Intensify Me! Liner claims to give you the control of a pencil liner with the intensity of a liquid liner.
The brush is a paddle shaped brush, giving you the ability to create a thin or thick line, depending on how you hold the brush. This is not really a brush though, as it's totally solid with no give to it at all.

Covergirl Eyeliner
This is supposed to be intensely pigmented--and it is. Swatches are below, but it's very black, and also extremely liquid-y, so it travels if you aren't careful.
As you can see above, I demonstrated what the lines look like depending on how you hold the pen.
I used this liner to make this wing. It wasn't extraordinarily difficult, but it was more difficult than using a pencil, or even a normal felt tip liner. The lack of flexibility in the tip makes it a bit more difficult to apply, but once you get used to it, it's pretty simple.

This is NOT waterproof. Once it's dry it doesn't smudge, but it will come off if it gets wet.

Overall, I like the mascara and eyeliner. The mascara is good for volume, and it may be nice paired with a lengthening mascara, which I haven't tried yet. The eyeliner is definitely pigmented and looks great once it's on. Once you get used to the brush, you're good to go!

Thanks for reading!

Have you tried either of these yet?
xx
