I did it. I bought the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I know, it's been out forever. If you've been with me for a while, you know that I didn't buy any of the Naked palettes when they released because I like more intense looks than what I feel these are made for.

Well, I bought the Naked 3 palette a couple of months ago, and since I had the original and 3, I couldn't help myself and bought the Naked 2. I felt like I needed to complete the "set".

I put off buying the Naked 2 more than the others because I always thought it was too cool-toned and that I'd end up hating it, but I actually really like it.

Pros:
  • Pretty colors(duh)
  • Balanced between warm, neutral and cool tones, so it seems to be universally flattering.
  • All of the colors seem nicely pigmented.
  • All shades blend really well.
  • Not a ton of fall out.
  • No need for other palettes to complete a look.
  • Can do day-time or night-time looks.

Cons:
  • A lot of similar colors.
  • Has a repeat color from the original Naked palette. (Half Baked)
  • Has a repeat color from Naked Basics. (Foxy)
  • A lot of the colors blend into each other because they're so similar.
  • I hate the packaging.

Overall, I like the palette. The main letdown is that so many colors are similar with slightly different undertones so if you use more than one on your lid they sort of blend into one another and you can't even tell there's more than one shade there.

Next week I'll be posting a Naked palette smackdown where I compare the three in depth and pick my favorite, so come back and check that out when it's up!

Thanks for reading!
