The beginning of the new year is here and that means it's time for me to pick my top Beauty Products of 2014.
This was incredibly difficult for me, and I really tried to narrow it down, that being said...

There are a couple of others that I will mention that I didn't get in the picture.
Let's go!
We will start with makeup...
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows are the ones I seem to grab for every day, whether I'm doing a simple look or a more complex one, they get the job done. The texture is amazing, they're so smooth, so blendable and the pigmentation is amaze-balls. They're only $5.99 each, so what are you waiting for?
Naked Basics Palette is the only palette I've consistently used. Do I love my other palettes? Of course! But I literally use this every day. I can't imagine life without it.
Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer is my go to. It really holds my eyeshadows in place and I have no creasing or fading. Love it.
Urban Decay 24/7 Liners are the only liners I've used for months. I haven't been doing my typical winged liner for a while now, so I've been using these non-stop. They blend and then they don't move. They're truly amazing. The color selection is unreal.
Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara is my new holy grail mascara. I don't think I can live without it. It gives amazing volume, lengthens and holds curl. Plus, it's super black and doesn't smudge or flake.
Too Faced HangoveRx Primer is the one I use daily. I won't do my makeup without it. I have super dry skin, so adding this step in between moisturizer and a pore minimizing primer is a must for me.
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is an amazing foundation. The coverage is awesome, it's blendable, it's not heavy and it doesn't cake up on me. Love it for dry skin.
Nyx HD Concealer is my new favorite under eye concealer/highlight. It has the perfect amount of coverage for me, plus it brightens and it doesn't crease. Did I mention it's only $5? Yeah. Get you some!
Urban Decay Razor Sharp Finishing Powder is the one I use daily. It's so light weight that it works perfectly to set my foundation,
Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder is another daily use product for me and something I don't want to live without. As you can tell, I've seriously hit pan. It's the perfect shade and what's the best is it worked for me when I was super tan and now that I'm the same shade as casper, it still works!
Laguna Deep Throat blush is the perfect blush shade for everyday wear. It's a great natural pink-y color and looks great on everyone.
Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray keeps my makeup looking fresh and not cakey all day long. I do notice a huge difference when I use this spray. It really keeps my makeup from flaking as my skin gets drier throughout the day.
Sigma F80/F40 are two brushes I've mentioned many times in the past. I love the F80 to apply my foundation during the spring/summer when my skin is less dry. The F40 is perfect for bronzer or blush, I use mine for both.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge is a more recent find but something I fell instantly in love with. It does an amazing job of blending out my foundation and concealer without irritating my super dry skin. I love it so much it inspired me to purchase a beauty blended, so I'll be doing a comparison post very soon.
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick 'Lolita' is also a more recent find, but I quickly became attached to it. It's one I use pretty much daily. It's the perfect pinky-brown shade that's so trendy right now and even though I'm not a trend follower typically, I love this one. Also, it's matte and extremely long wearing.
Lime Crime Velvetine 'Wicked' is one that I hesitated to add because of all of the controversy surrounding the brand. However, I love the product and I purchased it before I knew about any of the controversy. I'm still not sure I exactly understand the issue, I just know everyone is mad and I'm confused. Anyway, it's super matte, the perfect deep red and SO long wearing.
Ulta Lip Liner 'Flesh' is yet another product I use everyday. It's a nice pink-nude shade that works really well with Lolita. It's long wearing and not too drying.
OPI Nail Polish 'Red' is a pretty basic shade. It's just a red polish, but the formula is awesome and it's one I can count on to look great so I reach for it fairly often.
Batiste Dry Shampoo is another recent favorite. I'm a repetitive user of dry shampoo and this one is by far my favorite.
Ecru BB Cream for Hair is a product I use after every shower. I put it through the ends of my hair, and it leaves them extremely soft.
As far as products not shown, there are only a few:
Borghese Active Mud Mask has changed my life. It really cleans out my pores and leaves my face feeling amazing.
Macadamia Deep Repair Masque is a mask I use in my hair every time I wash it. It really helps to trap the moisture in your hair to keep it shiny and silky.
Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery moisturizer is the most loved of my moisturizers. I've used other great ones this year, but this is the fastest absorbing and works the best under my makeup.
So, that was long! That's my favorites for 2014! I hope you enjoyed the post and maybe found a new product to try!
Thanks for reading & sticking with me through another year!
xx
