I'm probably about a month late on this, but I wanted to write about the Pantone Color of the Year for 2015, which if you don't know, is Marsala.
This is a shade I wasn't sure about at first, until I thought about it. Marsala is described as a terracotta shade, or a red-brown. I'm all about the warm tones, so I'm pretty excited for this one.
I've seen quite a few videos about this color, and I decided to write a post of my own with makeup products that are the Marsala shade or something close to it.
There are obviously lighter and darker variations, as well as those which are more red toned or more brown toned. The shades will vary and what I will be posting are not all exactly Marsala, but similar.
This is a short list of products, as I really didn't have many. I wanted to share what I do have with you, in case you're looking for some products in this shade range.

Too Faced La Creme Lipstick 'Spice Spice Baby', Kat Von D 'Lolita', NYC 'Berry Me'
Bottom:  Wet n Wild Balm Stain 'Rico Mauve', Tarte Lipsurgence 'Crush', Lime Crime 'Wicked'.
As you can tell, these shades range from the very light end of Marsala to the extreme dark end. I wanted it to be more well-rounded to show that it's a more versatile shade.
The color of the year isn't something I normally write about or really even care about, and that hasn't changed. I'll wear whatever colors I feel like wearing, despite what the color of the year is or what's trendy. I just happen to like this shade and find it to be extremely flattering on those of us who love warm tones.
I hope this was helpful to anyone who was on the look out for Marsala beauty products!
I found all of these within my current collection, without purchasing anything new, which is something I recommend. Definitely check out your own collection before buying something new, you never know what you have stashed somewhere.
Thanks for reading!
xx
