Today I'm reviewing the Kiss InstaWave* I received from Kiss through Brandbacker for review. I have been pretty excited to do this review, but because of finals I had to put it off for a bit. The Kiss InstaWave automatic curler is a new hair styler in the market. It's definitely new and innovative, as it uses a "curl dial" to grab 1/2" sections of your hair and curl them in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
At first I was apprehensive of an automatic curler, as there are others on the market that are enclosed and sometimes tangle and burn your hair, but that's not the case with this one. It's open and I had no problems with it tangling my hair.

I'll insert a before and after picture as well, though with my hair being darker now, it's a bit harder to see. Also, I'd like to note that had my hair been clean, it would have worked even better, but I'm on 3rd day hair and today is hair washing day. :)

This was actually really simple to use and quick to learn. All you do is take a small 1/2" section of hair, place it on the instawave and push and hold the button in the direction of your choice until you hair is wrapped around the barrel. After about 5-8 seconds, pull the barrel down and your curl is released.

Once I got it down, it took no time to curl all of the hair on my head. I do feel like it takes about the same amount of time as curling my hair with a regular wand, but no burned fingers!

Here's a little info about the InstaWave. It has two temperature settings, 420 degrees max temperature, diamond-ceramic ion technology and it has an auto shut off after 90 minutes.
The only thing that worried me at first is that it makes a buzzing noise the entire time it's on, but that's normal so no worries!

So, overall I think this is a pretty nifty device. I recommend trying it if you've been debating on trying an automatic curler. I really like it and I'll be reaching for it pretty often.
You can find all of the information here as well as instructions, FAQ's, and videos demonstrating how to use it.

You can pick this up at Ulta or Target for 59.99.
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed the review!

*I received the Kiss InstaWave Automatic Curler free of charge from Kiss through Brandbacker in exchange for a review. I was not compensated for this review and my opinions are 100% honest!*
