Not too long ago, I was contacted by Vain Pursuits* to try their new skin care products. However, this isn't your typical skin care line. This is a new company and they're totally focused on getting you the personalized skin care products that you need.
Rather than being sent a standard product to use & review and receiving the same product as every other blogger, you're given a profile to fill out. This will ask you many questions about your skins condition, texture, problems, concerns, etc. It will also ask what you like and don't like in skin care products. There are questions pertaining to scent, texture, etc. It's very thorough.
After you fill out the profile, it will be analyzed and you will receive a personalized kit to test out.
Each product you receive comes with a personalized information card. On this card are detailed notes describing what is in it, how it will work and why it was made for you.

In my kit, I received 3 different moisturizers to test. You'll do a few tests, from checking out the scent, to putting the product on your wrist to test the textures. You'll choose your two favorites to try the first night, putting one on the left side of your face and the other on the right. The next day you'll try the third. You'll be giving them constant updates about anything and everything you do and do not like.
It's the most personalized skin care system I've ever come across. Once you decide which is your favorite, you'll be able to purchase the full size.
The way this works is you pay a $20 personalization fee, which can be used toward your order of the full size product. The full size products range from $45-$80.
So far in the process, I've been testing the three moisturizers I've received and giving feedback.
I'll update you again next week on where I've progressed in this system, as well as give you some information on the types that I received. So far, I'm a huge fan and I love the idea behind this.
In case you were wondering, here's a bit of information about the company:
The ingredients are all natural and plant based. Cruelty free. Paraben free. Phthalate free. Sulfate free. No synthetic fragrances. All of the products are made in Montreal, Canada.
I'm going to continue testing these products and update you as I move forward in the progress. If you're interested in trying this out, use this invite code! Not only will you be one of the first to try it, but you'll also get a discount!
Thanks for reading!
xx
*I was invited to try Vain Pursuits free of charge. My opinion is still 100% honest.*
