As I said earlier in the week, I'm reviewing two CC Creams this week.
Today's review is of the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Butter CC Cream

First, let's talk about what the IT Cosmetics CC Cream is supposed to do for you.
  • SPF 50+
  • Full Coverage
  • Brightening
  • Pore minimizing primer
  • Anti-aging
  • Dark spot corrector
  • Moisturizing Day Cream
So, that's a lot of things.
According to their website, it is clinically proven to improve skin texture, brightness, and increase skin hydration by 79%.
Also, it was formulated with plastic surgeons with the goal of merging high-performance skin care with the benefits of color correcting makeup.

That's a mouthful and quite the claim.

So, let's get into the review.

IT Cosmetics CC Cream

The first thing to note is while you'd initially assume it comes in a squeeze tube, it does have a pump. A really good pump. Which I love, obviously. Also, the tube contains 1.08 oz of product and retails for $38.

This CC Cream comes in 5 different shades: Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, and Rich.
I picked this up in the shade Medium. It's a little too light for me, but after I put on bronzer, it works.

One of the most beneficial aspects of this CC Cream is the SPF 50. This is so great because I don't have to put on additional products with SPF.

How's the coverage? Well, I'd say this does have really nice coverage. Medium coverage on the first layer, and definitely buildable to full coverage, without caking up.

Does it brighten? I think so. It definitely makes my skin look more luminous and healthy.

Does it act as a pore minimizing primer? Yes it does. It does a great job of blurring my pores and it lasts quite a while without the help of a primer.

Anti-aging? This I cannot say one way or another. I haven't been using the product long enough to say.

Dark spot corrector? Again, I haven't been using it long enough to tell, and I don't have many dark spots.

Is it moisturizing? I think so. I have extremely dry skin so I still use moisturizer before I apply anything else to my face, but it definitely didn't dry me out or make me flaky like most foundations do.

Let's see a before and after!

Overall, I really love the IT Cosmetics YSBB CC Cream. The shade range is pretty good, the packaging is great; I love that it has a pump. It's definitely great for dry skin and for those of us with discoloration and/or larger pores. It has medium, but buildable coverage, blends wonderfully and looks amazing. It lasts all day without a primer, but that won't be truly tested to its fullest until this summer.

I can't say how this will work on oily skin, but I would think that as long as you set it, it would work great!

I recommend trying this CC cream if you're in the market for one. You can pick it up at Ulta or for $38.
