Weight loss Wednesdays is a weight loss group for bloggers. We will be posting every Wednesday, and there will be a twitter chat every Thursday.

For those of you who have been around for a while, you know I've been struggling with my weight for a few years now.
I've had trouble sticking with diets and working out, but this time IS different.
I finally feel ready to do this & now I have this wonderful group of bloggers to support me and I'll be supporting them. 
My goal isn't to be skinny. My goal is to be healthy. I want to be strong. *And before anything is taken the wrong way, I don't mean that being skinny is unhealthy*. Some girls are naturally thin, and some work hard to stay thin; I just don't personally want to be thin, really. I'll show you a few pictures in a minute of my "goal".
Going along with what I just said, I don't have an exact number of pounds I want to lose.
I'm going to guess that I'm trying to lose about 35 pounds, and while I will be weighing myself regularly, that number is NOT the end all be all. I'm more concerned with how I look and feel.
I've never been in good shape. When I was younger I was skinny, very skinny. I wasn't healthy so that's not MY goal. If you want to be skinny, by all means, get there!

I'm trying to find some healthy recipes. I'm working on what I'm going to eat.
I'm planning to do P90x, which I have started before but I have never finished. 
The goal is to make it through the 90 days this time and when I'm done I want to do Insanity. 

I want to do this because I'm tired of being self conscious. I'm tired of hating how I look. I'm tired of feeling fat. I'm tired of being unhealthy. I'm tired of feeling tired, being lazy, and just generally not feeling good.

I want to look good. I want to feel good. I want to be healthy. I want to be confident. I want to NEVER have to be that self conscious person that I've always been, ever again. I want to be happy with myself. I want to feel proud of myself. 
This is why I HAVE to do this this time.

I finally feel like I can do this and I'm ready to start.
The fun starts tomorrow for me. Just went to the store & picked a few things up, I'll get the rest this weekend. I'm about to head out to work.
