This is a review for the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NW 25.

I've been holding out on this purchase for quite a while now. Even though I had heard a lot of good things about it, it's expensive and I've always had terrible luck with concealers.
I purchased this is the shade NW 25, even though I had no idea what shade I needed, as I've never owned a MAC foundation or concealer, other than my MSF.
I decided on NW because it has a peachy tone to it that makes it perfect for under eyes.
The shade matches perfect, so even though I was hoping it would be a bit light, it works and this spring/summer it will be light for me.
First of all, let's talk about the thing that I hate about it.
It has a pump. Normally, I'm all for a pump, less mess, easier to use, etc.
This pump is evil.
One pump is way too much, and there's no way to get any less.
You need maybe 1/3 of what comes out, so I feel that a lot of product is going to be wasted.
If anyone has any tips for me about this, please let me know.
Ignore the terrible light balance on the top picture. That is ONE pump.
That's trying to blend less than half of the one pump. What's left up there in a blob is half of a pump.
Crazy-ness.
So, do I like the product itself? Yes!
I love it.
It has really nice coverage, it blends easily and it doesn't crease or accentuate fine lines.
It brightens and camouflages dark circles without drying out the under eye area.
It doesn't look cakey or like you are wearing concealer.
The product itself is absolutely perfect, and I wish I had bought this sooner.
This concealer retails for $19 at maccosmetics.com
Will I repurchase it?
Yes, absolutely.
This is definitely worth $19 for me, and even though the pump gives you too much product, this will last a long time anyway.
Thanks for reading!
xx
