Hey! It's time for me to start posting my makeup collection!
I was going to do my storage post as well, but it's not quite ready yet, and I won't show it til I'm happy with it.

Anyhow, the first of many posts is about my Eye Liner collection.

Let me just say, I'm a makeup hoarder.
If it looks interesting and I can afford it, I buy it.
I'm not sure it's a good trait, but that's just the way it is.

Now, I've lost quite a few eye liner pencils, and I cannot find them, so this really isn't my entire collection, but it's what I can locate at the time.

Let's begin with gel liners.
I've only recently begun using gel and liquid liners, as I'd always used pencil liners.
I also only have black gel and liquid liners, unfortunately.
That will change soon.

Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner. I've had this for quite a while, and it hasn't dried out.
That being said, I'm not a fan of it. It's just not as pigmented as I'd like and it flakes off.
HOWEVER!!!
I do think that they changed the formula since I bought this, because I've heard nothing but good things from other bloggers! I just didn't pick up another one because I don't need it.

MAC Fluidline in Black Track. This is another that I've had for a while. It's also not dried out, and I love this one! It's very pigmented and lasts a long time. I also like to use it in my waterline because it doesn't budge.

MICA Beauty Cosmetics gel liner. I just got this one in an Ipsy bag and I haven't used it. I think I'm going to feature it in a blog sale, because the last thing I need is another black gel liner to sit around and dry out.

Now, liquid liner!
These are what I use on a daily basis. I really only like liquid liners with felt tips, and have NOT found my holy grail liner yet. Suggestions? I fully intend to pick up a few of the MUFE Aqua Liners this spring.

Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Liner. This was the first I ever bought. It has a brush tip, and it's fairly pigmented. I'm impressed with the quality.

Nyx Liquid Liner. This came in the Dark Shadows palette. It's black, very pigmented and has a brush tip. This one takes longer to dry than the others.

L'oreal Lineur Intense Carbon Black Liner.
This is my favorite. It has a felt tip. The pigmentation is great and it doesn't flake. Also, it dries quickly. BUT, it does have a downfall. I have watery eyes, probably due to wearing contacts, so it runs on the inner corners.

Wet n Wild Mega Liner.
I was pleasantly surprised by this liner. High end quality with a low drugstore price.
I hate the brush tip.

Marbella semi Permanent liquid liner.
You cannot wear this with contacts. If it runs into your eye it turns your contacts a grey-ish purple shade. It does not come off of them.
I loved this liner at first. It was pretty pigmented, the felt tip was nice, dried fast, didn't budge.
Stains eyelids a kind of faded black ink color, not cute.
Also, after a month of use, the pigmentation is gone. It's a purple-y black bruise shade. Yeahh.

Milani Eye Tech Liquid Liner.
Love the felt tip as it's super skinny and precise.
It's very, very black, and this one takes a little longer to dry.
Also stayed on my inner corners!
BUT! After 1 month of use, it started drying up, and now it takes a lot more effort to use.

Okay, here comes the crazy part, pencil liners.
I know, I'm about to prove that I'm a hoarder.
I'm not saying that other people don't have more than me, I just hoard an unhealthy amount of BLACK liner.
I have hardly any color, which is depressing to me.
I need more colored liner in my life.

Btw, I've sorted these by brand.
Urban Deday 24/7 Liners.
Take not on how I have 3 in Zero and a Perversion.

Also, to note, I have another rockstar pencil and another ransom that I could not find.
Oh, I'm a hoarder, thanks for noticing.

I love UD pencils. I used to use them all of the time.
As you can tell, I really love UD Whiskey, as it's nothing but a nub. Prettiest brown, ever.

Rockstar is a brown-ish purple shade.
Ransom is a bright violet.
Zero is black, Perversion is blacker.

Next up, Stila!
I have 7 Stila Smudgesticks.
These, I also love.
5 of these came in a set, the other two I bought a long time ago.
Those are Silver Dollar and Koi, which are silver and gold.
The others are from the Seeing Stars set.
Stargazer: Black with glitter
Angel Fish: Nude with glitter
Tetra: Purple with Glitter
Moray: Olive Green with Glitter
Oscar Fish: Brown-ish bronze with glitter

I love the smudgesticks, and they stay put and have nice pigmentation.
They do dry out though, so you have to use them up quickly!

Next is Nyx
Pink Suede: Light Pink
Azure: Teal
Black
I love the Nyx liners. They are a great dupe for the UD liners, at a fraction of the cost.
They have great pigmentation, they're smooth, creamy, easy to apply and they don't budge.

NYC:

I have a navy blue and a black glitter liner. The black glitter liner is very pigmented, and smooth. It's pretty easy to apply. The navy blue is hard, dry and unpigmented.

Milani:
I love the Liquif'eye pencils. They're very black, smooth & creamy. Also, I find they stay put better than the UD liners. I love these!

e.l.f.
These are the only two I can find, but I know I have at least 5 other glitter liners.
I don't like them, which is probably why I can't find them.
I've never tried an e.l.f. liner that I've liked, and I've never used this black one yet.

Rimmel:
Rimmel Exaggerate and Rimmel Soft Kohl Pencil. I honestly love them both.
Neither will sit in the water liner, but both work great for the lash line.
Rimmel Exaggerate has been repurchased more times than I can count, and is a long time favorite of mine.
The soft kohl is the same, repurchased over and over and loved for years.
They're pigmentation and staying power aren't as good as the others, but I still love them.
Also, these NEVER irritate my eyes.

Random liners:
Two are black, one is teal. I have no idea what brands any of these are, but they did come from the drugstore!
The teal is actually really nice, the other two, not so much.

Okay, that's it for eye liners!
Hope you liked this post!

I'll be posting one makeup collection post each Wednesday.
What part of my collection would you like to see next week?
