I received my October Glam Bag/Ipsy Bag yesterday!

This month's bag is full of makeup, which is a nice change!
Also, how cute is this bag? It also seems to be much better quality than the previous bag. I'm loving it!

Let's get into the contents!

First, let's talk about the lip gloss.

This product is Mirenesse Lip Bomb, and they sent a full size tube, in the shade 4. This retails for $35.

This is described as a glossy lacquer stain. It's essentially a lip cream, such as the Nyx Lip Creams, that leaves a stain, and has more of a glossy finish than the lip creams seem to have.
The scent of this reminds me of the furniture cleaner, pledge. That's definitely not a good thing, and it is quite strong, to me.
I haven't tried this out yet, as I'm not a fan of lip glosses. If I use it, I'll do a follow up review on it. :)

Next is the Be a Bombshell Liquid Liner Pen. This product is also full size, and retails for $14. I got this in the color Onyx, which is a basic black.

As you can tell from the swatch, this is not all that pigmented. I haven't tried it on my eyes yet, but from the swatch, I am not impressed. However, after it dried, it would not budge, so I don't think smudging will be an issue with this liner. The tip is quite large and stiff, and it reminds me of a magic erase marker. It's size makes it pretty awkward to hold onto, but I will be trying this out and giving a full review later.

Next is The Balm "What's your Type" Mascara in The Body Builder. This is a sample size, and the full size retails for $19.
As you can see from the brush, the bristles are thick and quite close to one another, as a volumizing mascara usually is. I haven't tried this out yet, but I will be, and I'll post a review on it later.

Next is the Coastal Scents sample palette. I received set #5, which includes the shades Vibrant Red, Frosty Taupe, Vanilla Sky, and Raisin Berry.

This little palette is incredibly small. Each eyeshadow is honestly smaller than a dime. A single Coastal Scents eyeshadow retails for $1.99, making this palette worth just a bit of change.

That being said, these are really pigmented and smooth. The swatch above is without primer. I'm definitely going to be using these, and this may encourage me to purchase from Coastal Scents, as I am very impressed with these just from swatching.

The last product is Pequi Oil Treatment. The size I received is 0.5 fl oz, which retails for $12.
This is supposed to help damaged hair, decrease frizziness and flyaways, etc.
After I try this, I'll post a review. You can purchase this here.
