I like to wear a lot of darker colors during the fall and winter months. I kind of talked about this in my hair post to an extent, as I said I like to darken my hair for the fall and winter months as well. I'll wear a smokey eye almost daily, and I'll have darker or neutral nails all fall and winter long. Although most people will wear a darker lip color for the fall and winter months, I've never liked the way I look with darker lip colors, so I always wear nude colors, but not quite as pink as what I'd wear in the summer. I'm honestly terrified of darker lip shades. My skin tone is really tan right now, and will remain this way, so if you have any suggestions for a darker lip color that I could try and maybe not be too terrified of, please, let me know. :)

I previously did a fall fashion ideas post, which I'll link here for you, in case you missed it, or wanted to go back to it without searching for it. In the fall and winter months, I'll almost always be wearing boots. I'd wear them year round if I could get away with it, but unfortunately, it stays around 85-100 degrees here in the summer, and it's very humid. It's actually 93 degrees today.

If I'm not wearing boots of some sort, I'll probably be wearing mocassins. I'll be sticking with leggings or skinny jeans all winter, as well as cardigans and hoodies. I love to layer, and I do so extensively. I plan to buy another flannel shirt, as the only two I own right now are mint green and hot pink. I'd like a navy blue or purple one.

I get inspired by the colder air, the colors outside, the falling leaves, the smell of the air, the smell of the foods around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Does that make me sound crazy? Haha, I hope not. ^_^

Did I mention that fall is my favorite season, and I actually hate winter? The only thing I like about winter is that I get to wear my pretty boots for an extra month. I don't like snow. I don't live in the city, so when it snows, I get stuck in my house, and that terrifies me.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love dressing up for Halloween, and I love decorating for it. I love it so much, that in my oral communications class last semester, I gave a speech about the meaning behind it, and where it originated. I'm a dork, I know.

The point behind this post is to prepare you guys for my posts the coming months, and to try to explain where I get my inspiration. There will be lots of smokey eye looks posted, lots of nude lips and darker cheeks, my hair is going to be darker, and I will be posting Outfit of the day at least once a week.
I'll be posting hauls as well, because I have to go buy some winter clothes, as well as makeup, scarves, boots, etc.

I guess I forgot to mention the tragic death of my boots last spring. The whole bottom of the boot fell off in March. But, they did make it through the winter! That being said, I definitely have to go buy boots soon. I plan to go sometime this week or next week.

Here are some things I've pinned on pinterest that are similar to my fall/winter style.
These are in addition to what I previously posted in the fall fashion ideas post.

Let me start off by saying, I do not own the rights to any of these pictures. I got them all from pinterest.com.
That being said, if one of these pictures belongs to you, please let me know! That way I can credit you!

That's it for my fall inspiration post!
Hope this didn't bore you too much!
Thanks for reading!
