I purchased Essie - Armed and Ready from Copious.com a few days ago, and I received it in the mail yesterday.
This is a very difficult color to describe, because depending on what light you're in, or the angle that the light hits it, it changes color slightly. In the bottle it looks like an army green with gold shimmer, which is essentially what it is.
On your nails it looks that way in normal light, in your home. Venture outside into the sun and look at it. It now looks like a medium gray with a dark green hint, and tons of gold shimmer. In dim light? Dark green, almost black, no shimmer. I love multi dimensional polish like this one.

I used two coats to get it completely opaque, although it was honestly really close with just one coat.
As far as the formula goes, it's just like the other Essie polishes I've tried. While I love them, as soon as I do dishes, they chip away. And I hate the thin brushes, but I can live with it. I use Seche Vite top coat, so I know that isn't the issue, but I haven't been using a base coat, so that may have something to do with it. If anyone knows of a really good base coat, please let me know in the comments section! :)

 Onto the pictures.

I took these pictures outside and it's a little cloudy here today.
Overall, I love this nail polish. The color is great and it's going to be amazing for fall.
I totally recommend you grab this one!

I'll have more nail polish posts up later this week of OPI - Every Month is Oktoberfest and Zoya - Cynthia.
I'll also have a review coming up of Urban Decay eyeshadow in Midnight Cowgirl.

I've bought quite a bit of jewelry from Copious the last few weeks, so let me know if you'd like to see some pictures of that as well.

More makeup reviews coming soon also!

Thanks so much for reading. Please continue to share my posts and refer more people to my blog!
