It's no secret that It Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands. When I need a product that I know will be good for my skin, It Cosmetics is the first brand I turn to, and for good reason. Their products are formulated in collaboration with plastic surgeons and contain anti-aging, skin loving ingredients to improve your skin. Who doesn't want makeup that improves your skin while you're wearing it?
Not only that, but obviously they're cruelty free or I wouldn't be talking about them.
I've been looking for a new concealer. I've been using the Nyx HD Concealer for years. Literally, years. I've tried others and some I like, like the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye but it's on the thicker side and I've been looking for something super light. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Nyx HD Concealer but I want to try something new. So here we are.
It Cosmetics CC+ Under Eye Concealer Review
The It Cosmetics CC+ Eye Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream Under Eye Concealer SPF 50+ is a mouthful. Also, it's an under eye concealer, as it says. It's infused with Optical Blurring Pigments to brighten your eye area.
This comes in a squeeze tube, which I don't really mind for concealer. It has a slanted metal tip, which you can use to apply the product directly to your eye area. It stays super cold, so I find it helps with swelling and puffiness under the eye. I sanitize it after every use, which you may not personally find necessary.
This is a 7-in-1 concealer:
  • anti-aging
  • moisturizing
  • brightening
  • color correcting
  • concealing
  • a perfecting primer
  • an SPF.

This is supposed to provide full coverage while color correcting and illuminating.
The CC+ Under Eye Concealer contains Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides, Hydrolyzed Collagen and Silk, Grapeseed Oil, Orange Peel Oil, Aloe Extract, and more.
This concealer is fairly thin in consistency and easy to blend into the skin. I apply it straight from the tube with the metal applicator and then blend it in with a beauty blender. Because of how thin the consistency is, I was skeptical at first but it does a great job of color correcting and covering the dark circles.
The shade I have is fair.

It's very hydrating so I do have to set it. If I don't set it, it will crease on me, but that's been true of pretty much every concealer I've ever used under my eyes so it's not a big deal.
It lasts all day and doesn't get cakey like other concealers tend to.
In case you couldn't tell, I really love this concealer.
I'm sure you hear me rave about IT Cosmetics products all of the time but seriously. I can't even help it. It's like their products were made for my skin, okay?
You can find the It Cosmetics CC+ Under Eye Concealer on the It Cosmetics website for $29.
More reviews coming over the next couple of weeks on some new Urban Decay things, Colourpop stuff, The Ordinary and maybe some more IT Cosmetics! Also, a roundup of Primers, Bronzers, and Highlighters is still being worked on so expect to see it soon!
Thanks for reading!

  1. That's great that it doesn't get cakey - that deters me from using concealer most of the time.

  4. This sounds like a really nice concealer I like the fact it doesn't get cakey as that's one of the things I don't like about a lot of concealer x

  7. This is one of my favorites from IT. Have you ever tried the two sided one with a highlighter on one end and concealer on the other? That one really rocks.
