Maybelline Color Tattoo

This is going to be a quick review on the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadow in Tough as Taupe that I picked up last Sunday.

I'm aware that I'm way behind on this, and to be honest, when I went to look at the Color Tattoos, I wanted the new Metals collection, but, my Wal Mart didn't have them. This is the same Wal Mart that doesn't carry Wet n Wild or Hard Candy. My Wal Mart is the worst Wal Mart, ever. Also, I used to work at this Wal Mart, and it was HORRIBLE!

Anyway, now that we've gathered that my Wal Mart is probably the worst in existence, we may move on. 

 Yes, I failed and stuck my finger in it the very first time I opened it. I'm a failure and I'm ashamed. Not really. You'll soon learn that I have no shame, and for that, I do apologize. :)

My swatch is terrible. Sue me. I'm sure this isn't the first one you've seen, and it won't be the last. I'm still not used to my new camera, and because I'm super smart, I sold my old one before I even got this one. I know, stupid. As I said, no shame.

I've worn this a few times now, with and without primer. It's never creased on me, and I've worn it 8+ hours before. It says 24 hours, but, really, who wears their makeup for 24 hours? That's gross. Moving on..

The pigmentation is nice, exactly what I'd expect from a cream shadow. It's buildable, which is also nice.

All in all, I like these. I paid $5 for this. If I'm not mistaken, when these released were they not around $8? I don't remember, I didn't buy any. Anyway, they'd be worth $8 each as well. I've heard these are comparable to MAC paint pots. I cannot confirm, as I don't own MAC paint pots. I'm cheap, sorry!

I'm hoping to get more of these in the future, as I really do like it. I'm really dying to get the new pink-ish colored one, I don't know the name of it. I'm failing at blogging today, aren't I?

I can't help it, I'm sick and my brain is fuzzy, hence the horrid swatch. Don't hate. 

I'll have more reviews up soon. I'm just not sure of the order. If my orders from Sephora and Sigma ever ship, I'll post hauls, but they're taking FOREVER. /cry. I assume the holidays have everyone backed up and I'm more impatient that the average person.

In case you care, I didn't buy either of the Naked palettes, not even the Naked Basics palette. I decided that since I couldn't make up my mind, I'd just put it off even longer. I'm a master procrastinator, it's what I do. I did however purchase the new Urban Decay Dangerous palette, as I own the original Dangerous palette. I think I'm going to love it. I'll let you know if I ever receive it. Hurry, Sephora! My impatience is slowly killing me.

Okay, I'm going to stop rambling. This was supposed to be a short review, and it's become a short review lost inside a long ramble session mixed with a rant. I don't know what's wrong with me today. My brain isn't working.

Let me just say that I did not purchase any of these items for the giveaway, most were purchased for myself, a few have been swatched 1x, but never used because I just have too many things that were similar. I just want to stress, even though I said it in the giveaway post, that yes, some of these items were swatched. I even said which ones! I just don't want anyone to be like, well, this wasn't in it's packaging and it's not brand new. I said that. But, it's never been actually used, only swatched, and it's clean and sterile, promise. :)
