It's Mani Monday!

Today's post went up a little later than usual, because typically, this is the only post I have scheduled each week. I usually work on Mondays, so I always schedule this one so I don't forget about it, but since I was off today, I decided to just write it and post it when I felt like it. :)

This is Sinful Colors 24/7 with Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Glitz Gal.

I have a strong love/hate relationship with the Sinful Colors polish in 24/7.

I am OBSESSED with the color. It's the perfect hot pink shade. It's really brighter than the picture shows.

That's the only thing I love about it.

Let's talk about my adventures with this polish this week.

It took 3 coats. 3 very streaky coats, that took forever to dry.

Three hours later, it chipped. A lot.

I touched them up. Let them dry, again, forever.

TWO hours later, chipped again.

I've tried this polish with Seche Vite Top Coat, Butter London Top Coat, Sally Hansen Top Coats, it doesn't make a difference.

I absolutely do NOT recommend this nail polish.

That being said, I'm on the hunt for a dupe, so if you have any suggestions, let me know. 

The Sally Hansen Gem Crush polish is amazing. It's a charcoal gray glitter base with holographic glitter scattered throughout.

It doesn't chip. But, as all glitter polishes are, it's IMPOSSIBLE to remove. It's very thick, and even with 2 layers of top coat, it's still gritty.

When you decide to remove it, soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover, place it on your entire finger nail, and wrap your nail in aluminum foil. Let it sit around 5 minutes, then press down on the cotton ball, apply quite a bit of pressure, and slide it down.

This should remove it.
