I got this hair dryer about a week or so ago from www.misikko.com.
I've been using this pretty often since then, and I have to say, I love it!
Let me give you the quick description from the website:
HANA Salon presents the powerful HANAair hair dryer. This dryer has been Salon tested and Salon recommended since its inception. Inspired by Italian design, the combination of HANAair's strongest AC motor along with its tourmaline lined ceramic heater will dry your hair up to 60% faster maintaining natural shine while promoting healthy luxurious hair.
I really love that this comes with a 2 year warranty.
This hair dryer has 2 fan speeds and 3 heat settings, along with a cold shot, if you just press the button.
It comes with one attachment, a concentrator.
Also, it has a 12 ft. cord. So, if you live in a house like mine where outlets are few and far between, this is a nice feature.
The first thing I noticed about this hair dryer is that it is quite a bit heavier than my old Conair hair dryer. It's not so heavy that it's uncomfortable to use, it's just noticeably heavier, and seems much more sturdy.
I also noticed when I first turned it on, that it's much more powerful than what I'm used to. Even the low speed setting is very strong.
I will say, my hair does dry much faster with this hair dryer. Also, my hair doesn't seem as damaged or dull after using this dryer. This hair dryer actually makes my hair seem a little smoother and much shinier, which I love.
My hair is extremely damaged from years of bleaching, coloring and heat styling, and I've been trying to grow my hair out. This hair dryer has helped so much, so far, because it really makes my hair look and feel healthier. It definitely has not caused any further damage.
I also really love the box that I was sent. It was full of other little goodies, it was like Christmas 3 days after Christmas, haha!
How cute is that?
Would these not make the cutest Holiday gifts? Everything is packaged so well, and you receive all of these cute little extras!
If you're on the lookout for new blow dryers, for yourself or as a gift for someone else, I totally recommend this one!
To find the dryer I'm using, go to the Hana Salon, this brand has hair dryers as well as flat irons.
In addition to hair tools, Misikko also carries hair care products.
If you're looking for a salon grade hair dryer, this is the one I recommend!

Ugh, I'm going to have to check this blow dryer out. I used to have a really nice one, but it broke and now I'm stuck with Conair :( Love your blog!

Thank you for the info, looks nice, my favorite right now is the karmin g3 hair dryer, it's very good , keeps my hair soft and smooth. :D
ReplyDeletenice, thnx for the recommendation, I use the karmin g3 hair dryer too and it really works pretty good. :P
ReplyDeleteI bought this dryer recently and found it to be okay but not amazing. Many reviews I read were from girls with pretty straight or wavy hair and as a curly haired girl I didn't find that it gave me results that were much better than my generic hair dryer. Also, the buttons are a pain and all the goodies I've seen in all the reviews were misleading as I received mostly junk. Still got frizz that I had to flatiron away. Overall, not worth shelling out the money. As a side note, it's not for lack of skill as I'm very good with a blowdryer. FYI I'm putting this comment on as many reviews as I can for all the other curly haired ladies who need to hear how it works on actual curly hair (waves don't count as curls!)
